  • Sciatica

    Sciatica is pain caused by irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve is a combination of five nerve roots that exit the lumbar spine. It is also commonly referred to as lumbar radiculopathy, or sciatic neuritis.

    Lumbar Disc Disorders

    There are several names for lumbar disc bulges. Some of the more common are disc herniation, slipped disc, or a bulging disc. In reality these are all common names for the same aliment. A disc bulge refers to a weakness in the outer layer (annulus fibrosus). This weakness then protrudes from the inner discal pressure of the gel like (nucleus pulposus).
